CHEATSDB.ORG Update (Prepare for v2)

We have finished deploying the new update for CheatsDB. Nothing has changed globally, but updating some things will help us move forward and develop something great very soon.

Key Updates

1. Migration of Infrastructure to a New Server:
   • To handle future updates, a more powerful server is required, leading to the decision to change hosting providers. According to our tests, the website takes about one second to load, which is quite good.
      
2. Platform Engine Update:
   • We have updated the platform engine to the latest available version; however, this update is not final. We are waiting for the release of the stable version 5 (currently in Beta, making it impractical to update at this time).
      
3. Re-enabled Discord Integration:
   • Previously, this integration was disabled, which made some Discord channels accessible to guests or users who hadn’t synchronized their accounts. Now, synchronization is required to access the chats.
      
4. Ranks & Badges:
   • The latest engine version introduced ranks and badges awarded based on your activity on the forum. Currently, predefined rules and badge designs are being used, but these will be updated closer to the CheatDB V2 release.
      

Future Plans

As we mentioned earlier, we are expecting the release of the 5th version of the engine. Once it is released, we will update our platform, and this will be the final update for some time. After the successful upgrade, we will immediately start working on modernizing the entire DB system. Many processes will be automated, users will gain more tools to access up-to-date and extensive information as well as to provide feedback on the product. Providers will have access to editing information about their listed products and managing mini-communities within our platform.

We aim to implement all these changes and more by the end of the Q2, 2025.
